As makers we are very excited today because (after a significant amount of “hunting” on the internet and at auctions) we have finally been able to acquire a copy of Peter Biddulph’s (http://www.peterbiddulph.com) books about Giuseppe Guarneri del Gesù. This is a truly magnificent piece of work with detailed photos & measurement of 25 of the master’s instruments including famous violins such as the Cannone, Vieuxtemps, Kreisler and Plowden.
We look forward to using this information on one of our future building projects!
