We are excited to share our first “Celebrating Violin Making” video. Hear Leo Ficks play his 2019 Eduard Miller Violin (Denver, CO) and have a closer look at the violin. We used small diaphragm condenser microphones with a flat frequency response and did not apply any EQ, compression or other effects. You can therefore hear the authentic sound of the violin.
We recorded this video at a local church in Connecticut. This is what our setup looked like:
