We import our handmade fingerboards directly from Germany. Our supplier's family owned company has been making fingerboards for about 130 years and we had the pleasure of visiting the owner and his son in their workshop in January 2020. We were able to see their impressive stock of ebony blanks. The large stock is required to cover the production of future years since the ebony used for these fingerboards is seasoned for at least 8 to 9 years before being made into fingerboards.
